The first set was calm, without almost any weather difficulties. We could see a great play from Berdych, strong topspins and clever shots all over the court and great shots from Murray as well. The set ended by 7:5 for the Czech.
During the second set everything started. The wind started going crazy, putting the players in a situation, they propably didn't expect. Tomas Berdych, loosing every shot he played because of the wind taking his shots out of the court, lost the set by 6:1. While Berdych didn't really know how to play in a situation like that, Andy Murray seemed to have no problems with that at all. Andy became calm and it seemed like he knew exactly what to do. It looked like he could perfectly predict how strong the wind was going to be that moment. Every time, after the ball was hit by Murray, the wind starter taking the ball exactly where the scotish wanted it to go. It actually looked like he was collaborating with the wind instead of fighting with it.
The 3rd set was just like the 2nd one, ending with a 6:2.
In the next set we could see a whole different Bedych. As Tennis News explains, tt looked like he realised perfectly how to play with the wind. Every shot was as good as in the first set, giving Murray some problems than. The set ended in a hard 7:6 (9:7). When it was 5:2 for Berdych in the Tie-Break, it looked like we would have a 5th set. Berdych was dominating and Murray couldn't do much than. Although the great play from Berdych, Andy took the law into his own hands and finished this Tie-break by 9:7 winning this semi final in 4 sets.
